Is Power In The Blood Zechariah 13:1 Zec:13:1: In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. Introduction: A. Man has always been interested in power: 1. More powerful men is our cry. 2. More powerful machines. a. Planes. b. Automobiles. c. Tools. d. Weapons. 3. More powerful methods. a. Always seeking better methods of advancement, and ways of getting the job done faster and better. B. The greatest power in Heaven or in earth is the Blood of Jesus Christ. I. It Has Cleansing Power From Sin A. In the text it is called "a fountain for sin." B. It is the only thing that can take away sin. 1 Jn. 1:7b the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Isa. 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. C.
